Ruud Lighting Inc. (RLI) sells directly to electrical
distributors, contractors and selected National Accounts.
Outside of the US and Canada, RLI products may be
purchased through our authorized distributors only.

convenience, a number of fax forms are available,
including an ordering form and application indoor and

Warranty Package
All HID luminaires include our superior Colorfast DeltaGuard®
seven-year finish, up to three-year product and up to
one-year lamp warranties. See our full-line catalog,
Technical Data – Warranty section, for details. Products
returned under warranty as defective require a Returned
Goods Authorization Number (RGA#) and are subject to
inspection. Products found not to be defective and in good
working order will be subject to a minimum 15% restock
charge. Contact our
Technical Support Department for an
RGA# when making a warranty claim.
No-Risk Sample Orders
Ask for a No-Risk Sample and we’ll ship you any one of our
luminaires for 60 days. During the 60-day trial, evaluate the
luminaire’s quality and performance. Place an order for 20
or more of the same product and the sample is yours to
keep free of charge. Or, order less than 20 luminaires, keep
the sample and remit payment; or return the sample freight
prepaid by contacting our
Customer Service Department for
a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#). We pay all
standard freight on sample orders within the continental US.
Pricing & Prepayment
Catalog prices are for prepaid orders shipping within the US
and save you 20% off invoice prices. Prepayments include
payment by check, MasterCard, Visa or
American Express and are received before order shipment.
We deposit the check or charge the card just before
shipping your order. All prices are subject to change and
exclude applicable shipping and handling fees, freight and
sales tax.

Gold Level Customers
Gold Level status is granted to customers achieving and
maintaining a sales level of $15,000 annually. Gold Level
customers receive an additional 5% discount on current
catalog prices for prepaid orders, or 60-day, interest-free,
pre-approved invoice terms* at current prepay catalog
prices. Customer accounts must be kept current to maintain
Gold level status. Please call our Customer Service
Department for more information.

Invoice Orders
Customers not yet achieving Gold Level status are eligible
for invoice terms. With approved credit*, orders of $1,500
or more can be invoiced at invoice pricing for 30 days.
Invoice pricing is 25% higher than our current prepay
pricing. Invoices past 60 days will be charged 1-1/2%
monthly service fee.

Shipping & Handling
Luminaire orders of $1,500 or more will ship prepaid by RLI
within the continental US. Shipping and handling fees for
orders less than $1,500 will be 7% of the order value or
$10, whichever is greater.

Freight charges apply to all pole shipments. Contact
Customer Service
for more information.
Transit/General Information
Additional charges may be applicable for residential
deliveries or when changing a shipment’s destination
(reconsignment). Common carriers are not responsible for
unloading goods. Additional unloading charges may be
assessed. Please have the proper unloading equipment
readily available at the shipment’s destination. This is
especially important for pole shipments. All shipments are
F.O.B. origin (EXW), ownership of the goods passes to you
when they leave our factory. If you suspect a shipment has
been lost, damaged, misdirected or incomplete, contact our
Customer Service Department
immediately. We will help
resolve the problem on your behalf.
Order Changes
Fees are assessed for order cancellation or modification of
standard product orders. Special orders are not subject to
cancellation or modification without explicit consent from
RLI. Contact our
Customer Service Department for more
information.
Returned Checks
A $25 handling charge will be assessed for any check
returned by your bank. Additionally, the order value reverts
to invoice price, which is 25% higher than prepayment
price. Payment is due immediately.
Returns
New, unopened RLI products returning (within one year
from original date of purchase) with our prior authorization
and in re-saleable condition will be considered for credit. A
minimum of 15% is deducted from all credits to cover our
inspection, re-testing and re-cartoning costs. Returning RLI
poles receive an additional $5 per foot deduction. Final
credit determined after our inspection. Special product
returns and C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted. Contact

No-Price Catalogs Available
For our electrical-contractor customers, a no-price version of
our full-line catalog is available. Just call our
Customer Service Department.
Products/General Information
All of our products, excluding Track, are manufactured in
the US. Track products are designed in the US and built to
our specifications overseas. We reserve the right to modify
any of our products without prior notice and without
incurring obligation. Ruud products are covered by US
