Emergency Lights
Ruud® Emergency Lights
feature a thermoplastic housing and available T-5tungsten or MR16 halogen
lamps. Our remote emergency light head offering includes single and double head
models in a variety of lamp wattages and styles to meet your emergency lighting
needs. A series of attractive MR16 style remote heads complement our EMP MR16
style emergency products. These fixtures use6-volt, 5-watt MR16 lamps mounted
on a black or white thermoplastic housing. A sealed, maintenance-free lead calcium
battery operates lamps for 90 minutes minimum after a power outage. Other features
include low-voltage disconnect, AC lockout and automatic brownout protection. These
heads can be used with any of our emergency products that are capable of
supporting remote fixture loads, such as EMHC, EMP or EMP22 Series or EXPC-HO
exit signs with remote capability.
Combination EmergencyLight/Exit Sign
This product is a
cost-saving approach for applications that require battery backup emergency
lighting and an exit sign. Our combination emergency/exit sign units include
most of the features of our Plastic LED Exit Sign and the Emergency Light.
Emergency Egress Light
Our E4 with
Emergency Light fixture is an excellent choice for lighting small parking or public
areas next to buildings or other egress applications. This fixture includes a medium-base
lamp, 70-wattMH or HPS or 4-pin, 42-watttriple-tube compact fluorescent lamp.
Two 6-watt, 6-volt or two8-watt 12-volt SC bayonet-based incandescent lamps are
included for emergency lighting. Upon loss of power the low-voltage lamps will automatically
activate, powered from a remote 6- or 12-voltcentral battery system, available
separately. In addition to our E4 with Emergency Light, we have expanded our
offering to include a new Forward Throw Emergency Egress Light with emergency
battery pack. This exterior wall-mounted luminaire features a 26-, 32-or
42-watt compact fluorescent lamp and an electronic ballast with a minus 18-degreeCelsius
starting temperature. The integral cold-weather emergency battery pack provides
90 minutes of 700–1250 initial lumen light output.
